All In Ones This study had the objective of determining the species of Spalangia in pupae of muscoid Diptera present in buffalo dung, collected in the municipality of Itumbiara, GO, from May to December 2003.The dipterous pupae were obtained by the flotation method.They were individually placed in gelatin capsules until the emergence of the flies ZOOT COMB SYSTEM and/or their parasitoids.The overall prevalence of parasitism was 2.59%.
The prevalences of parasitism presented by the parasitoid species Spalangia cameroni (Perkins), Spalangia drosophilae (Ashmead), Spalangia endius (Walker), Spalangia nigra (Letraille) and Spalangia nigroaenea (Curtis) were 0.53%, 1.37%, 0.15%, 0.04% and 0.
